El Gusto de la Cala - review of christmas day dinner First time we have been since change of ownership Set menu was €34.50pp (so we booked quickly). Starters french onion soup chicken liver pate Both excellent, decent sized portions, not too much, which was good. Main courses Turkey and all the trimmings Excellent, well cooked, seasoned well, veg was good, gravy was yummmmm. (A tad too much for us, but excellent) Puddings Cheesecake Xmas pud Both delicious, what more to say. Staff - service was top class, all do their jobs very well. Overall - superb value for money for christmas day, we will definitely be back

A new restaurant on our list for this year's annual golf trip. The decor is nice and bright and the service is great. The food was very good with an extensive range to suit all tastes. Certainly will go back.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant today (Christmas Day) and without reservation, enjoyed an excellent Christmas dinner. Everything was perfectly presented by efficient and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend and we will be returning.

It was a wonderful surprise to find this kind of a place, in a small town and off season! ! Great food and drinks. The salmon dish was nothing but perfect. Delicious roasted veggie dish! The apple trate dessert was out of this world. An A+ staff and service. Great experience, and I highly recommend it.

We are here on Saturday 4th November and our meal was really nice and really good value. We’ve eaten here before and El Gusto is one of our go to places if we want to guarantee that we will have a great meal and great service. Tonight was different though as the single female entertainer was absolutely fantastic. Restaurants are difficult to entertain in as people are more interested in their food and conversation. She remained entertaining and upbeat the whole night though and the diners bought into her and she had many up on their feet and singing along with her at times. She was absolutely stunning and was a great entertainer and made the night. We’ll done!
